Soak 1 cup sama rice for 15-20 minutes.
Heat 2 tbsp of oil or ghee in a pan, add cumin, sauté till the oil become fragrant and the cumin crackles. Then add green chilies and peanuts. Stir and mix well.
Drain the water from the sama rice and add the sama rice to the sautéed mixture. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until the sama rice is cooked completely, Serve with yoghurt.
