Foxtail Millet Idli
Description
Foxtail Millet Idli is a healthy and wholesome variation of the traditional South Indian breakfast dish. Made using foxtail millet, urad dal, and a touch of fenugreek seeds, this idli is a nutritious alternative to the rice-based version. Foxtail millet, rich in dietary fiber, protein, and essential minerals like magnesium and iron, makes these idlis a great choice for promoting gut health, managing blood sugar levels, and boosting overall nutrition. The batter is fermented naturally, enhancing its probiotic benefits and imparting a soft, fluffy texture. Light, delicious, and easy to digest, Foxtail Millet Idli pairs perfectly with coconut chutney, sambar, or any spicy side dish, making it a versatile meal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
